Bullet for My Valentine Unveil New Bassist, New Song and New Album Details
Bullet for My Valentine have found a new bassist, released a lyric video for their brand new song “No Way Out” and have revealed that their new album will be titled Venom and will arrive Aug. 14. You can have a listen to their new tune above.
The Welsh band has added bassist Jamie Mathias to their lineup, replacing Jay James who exited the group in February. That same month the band were set to begin recording their next album, and the group thanked James for his 12 years in the group and said they’d let everyone know who’d be replacing the bassist “when we feel the time is right.” To learn more about Mathias, the new bassist, head to his newly created twitter account @BFMVJamie.
Back in February, the band posted about their new album on their Facebook page, “We’ve been working hard on this record for over a year now, writing and demoing a ton of material in that time. As we sit here on the 1st of February 2015, we have the most songs we’ve EVER had written for an album before recording session, and now begins the difficult process of choosing the best of the best of them to make the cut for #BFMV5″ Check out their full posting here.
Starting on July 24, BFMV will be heading out on the 2015 Summer’s Last Stand Tour with Slipknot, Lamb of God and Motionless in White. They’ll play through the summer, winding things down on Sept. 5 in Dallas. Head here for the full list of tour dates.
